As the concentration fluctuates, the sensors automatically calculate and adjust the phase ratios of the organic and aqueous solutions. For example, if the metal concentration in the aqueous phase is too low for efficient extraction, the sensors will increase the proportion of the organic phase. This dynamic adjustment ensures that the system is always operating at peak efficiency, maximizing the extraction of the desired metals. - Precision Mixing – Variable - speed agitators (50–2000 RPM) optimize droplet dispersion
Precision mixing is a cornerstone of our extraction process. The variable - speed agitators, with a wide speed range from 50 to 2000 RPM, offer unparalleled control. For less viscous solutions, a lower speed around 50 - 200 RPM can be used to gently blend the phases and promote initial contact. In contrast, when dealing with more viscous substances or when a more intense mixing is required to break down large droplets, speeds up to 2000 RPM can be set. This precise control over agitation optimizes the dispersion of droplets, enhancing the surface area for mass transfer and ultimately improving the extraction yield. - Instant Separation – Tilted settler plates achieve <5% entrainment even with viscous solutions
The instant separation mechanism, featuring tilted settler plates, is a game - changer. Even when handling highly viscous solutions, these plates are designed to efficiently separate the phases. The tilt angle of the plates is optimized to encourage the rapid settling of the heavier phase. Due to their unique design, the entrainment, which is the carry - over of one phase into the other, is kept below 5%. This means that the separated phases are of high purity, reducing the need for additional purification steps and saving both time and resources in the overall extraction process.
